The Brazilian firm has registered the unit with the SEC and is in the process of developing a distribution platform for marketing its funds to US investors.

Luis Osorio, international development head of Bradesco, was quoted by the publication as saying that the company will initially offer a LatAm equity fund as well as a LatAm bond fund.

"With these two funds we believe that we will offer the expertise that we have in Brazil and in Latin America managing these kinds of strategies."
