BetaShares, a provider of exchange traded funds in Australia, has appointed Lyndall James to the newly created role of director of adviser services.
In her new role, James will be responsible for leading relationships with financial advisers, which BetaShares said "presents a significant growth opportunity for the ETF industry as the FOFA reforms are implemented".
She has over two decades experience in financial services, having worked in senior distribution roles at van Eyk, OnePath and MLC.
BetaShares managing director Alex Vynokur said: "As exchange traded products continue to gain acceptance in adviser practices, it’s important we continue building strong and lasting relationships with advisers in order to continue to deliver value for them and their clients."
"I’m confident her wealth of experience in the industry will prove valuable as we continue to invest in the ETF education process."
