AMP Capital has named Kate Campbell as the new institutional director in Europe for its London office.

Based in London, Campbell will report to AMP Capital managing director Europe, Middle East & Africa Richard Shields.

In her new role, she will work together with Louisa Yeoman, institutional director – UK, to develop AMP Capital’s European institutional client business.

Campbell has joined AMP Capital from JP Morgan where she served as executive director, capital introduction, in the prime brokerage area. She also worked with more than 300 global hedge funds assisting them with their marketing strategies.

Prior to this, Campbell has held several roles at Deutsche Bank, Equity Capital Markets, and Goldman Sachs.

"Kate’s efforts will be focused on fundraising for this new platform and for AMP Capital’s unlisted infrastructure business where we already have a range of well-established equity and debt funds. She will work with clients such as pension funds, insurers, private banks and multi managers," he added.
