Amana Capital, a Lebanon-based financial services firm, has received a license from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to operate in the country.
The license authorizes its subsidiary Amana Financial Services UK (AFS UK) to offer financial services to retail and institutional customers in the UK.

Following FCA permission, AFS UK has joined other regulated group entities operating in Lebanon, Cyprus and the UAE.
Amana Capital CEO Ahmad Khatib said, "Our vision from the beginning was to provide high quality services using state of the art technology in order to become the leader in the markets we operate in."

Operating out of Canary Wharf office in London, the newly established company will deliver its services to a diverse client base.
