Alliance Trust Savings is set slash its marketing team following a strategic review of its business.
The move comes as the firm seeks to outsource majority of its marketing functions.
As part of the redundancy programme, the firm has decided to cut four of the six marketing team.
Additionally, Alliance Trust Savings is in talks with the team and is planning to reemploy some ff to another part of the business.
An Alliance Trust Savings spokeswoman said: “Alliance Trust Savings confirms that it has conducted a review of its marketing operations and has taken the strategic decision to outsource the majority of this work going forward.
“This decision has unfortunately resulted in a small number of roles being placed at risk of redundancy and we are currently in discussion with the affected employees. In some cases, there may be potential for redeployment elsewhere in the business,” he added.
