British venture capital investor Albion Ventures has concluded the acquisition of OLIM Investment Managers from Close Brothers Group.

OLIM, which specialises in UK quoted equities, was set up in 1986 and has been a part of the Close Brothers since 2000. The business manages nearly £500m in assets.

Albion said that the deal closing diversifies its investment management expertise into quoted equities and boost its assets under management and administration to over £950m. The transaction was announced in September 2016.

Co-founder Angela Lascelles will continue to serve as the CEO of OLIM, while the existing investment management team will continue to manage its funds as well as segregated portfolios.
