Adam & Company, one of the subsidiaries of the RBS’ private banking group, has appointed four team members to its Aberdeen office, bringing the team total to 12.
The hires, which include a new financial planning manager, senior business development manager and two support staff are all newly created roles, the bank said.
Ricki Garden joins Adam & Company as a financial planning manager from Anderson Anderson and Brown.
Louise Smith, previously at RBS, joins as a senior business development manager and will work to develop new networks across different sectors introducing the services that Adam offers to new clients.
Monica Tonissoo also joins Adam & Company as paraplanner. Monica brings with her four years experience of working with high net worth clients, including as a private banking assistant in London.
Adele Milne joins Adam’s as a private banking assistant from a customer services based role within RBS’ customer services team.
Ian Massie, branch director commented: "Adam & Company arrived in Aberdeen in January 2005 and since this time, the office has continued to thrive – bucking the trend witnessed by other financial providers who are reducing their presence. These four hires are all newly created roles, and firm evidence of this on going success."
In August this year, Adam & Company has shut down its Manchester office and planned to move most of the clients, currently around 250-300, to the bank’s London hub. The move followed the initiation of an official integration between Adam & Company and RBS’ other subsidiary, Coutts.
Adam & Company has over £1.2bn of private client funds under management as of June 2014.
