Dutch lender ABN AMRO has hired Jagdish Hirani as new country executive for the UAE replacing Rob Broedelet.

Hirani was most recently managing director of global markets for Asia at the bank, reported Reuters.

Broedelet has left after a spell of 35 years at the firm to start his own consultancy that works with private equity investors in the Middle East.

ABN Amro, which has around 100 staff in the UAE, specialises in commodity trade finance, diamond financing and private banking for HNWI’s.
