Multi-boutique investment firm BennBridge has hired Doug Stewart from OppenheimerFunds to support its European expansion.
The role of CEO replaces the COO position of Greg Thomas.

Thomas now serves as the chief business officer of Bennelong Funds Management.
As CEO of BennBridge UK and Europe, a newly-created position, Stewart will spearhead the next phase of the firm’s expansion in Europe.
He will also be responsible for managing the growth of the multi-boutique partnership model.
In the new role, Stewart will report to Bennelong Funds Management CEO Craig Bingham.

By GlobalDataAt OppenheimerFunds, Stewart worked as the CEO and head of EMEA for European business and played an integral role in the launch of the firm’s London office.
He formerly spent 15 years at AllianceBernstein. He held the role of managing director, EMEA Client Group, at this firm.

Bennelong and BennBridge are units of the BFM Group that presently partners with 12 boutiques worldwide.
