Deutsche Bank Asset Management (Deutsche AM) has hired Alex Prout as its new head for Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Prout will join Deutsche AM next month from Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he worked as COO for global sales and distribution. He will report to Nicolas Moreau, the company’s chairman and head.

Prout will be based in Hong Kong and will be responsible for developing strategies for the company’s growth in the APAC region.
Apart from Morgan Stanley, Prout previously also worked at Invesco Asset Management and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
