UK investment manager Hargreave Hale has appointed Andrew Wood as the new investment manager for its Carlisle office.
Wood, who joins from Brewin Dolphin, will be responsible for catering to clients across the Cumbria region and the Scottish borders. He will work with Carlisle office head Hazel Larkin.

At Brewin Dolphin, Wood worked for over 19 years managing the Dumfries and Galloway area as an assistant director responsible for managing portfolios for private investors, trusts, charities and pension funds.
“Andrew is a welcomed addition to the team who will help take us forward as we aim to extend the reach of our investment proposition on both sides of the English-Scottish border. “His skill set and industry experience will be of considerable value to our business and his appointment will help us enhance the level of service we provide to our clients,” Larkin said.
