British asset manager Jupiter Fund Management has appointed Credit Suisse’s head of group finance Charlotte Jones as its new CFO, replacing Philip Johnson.

Jones will also serve on Jupiter’s board as an executive director in addition to being CFO.

She will take up the role on 5 September 2016, subject to regulatory approval.

Jones, who started her career at Ernst & Young, spent nine years at German lender Deutsche Bank prior to moving to Credit Suisse.

Commenting on the appointment, Jupiter Fund Management CEO Maarten Slendebroek said: "We have been expanding our senior management team to enable us to build on this growth through a mixture of internal promotions and external hires and we are delighted that Charlotte will be joining the company."
