Accounting firm Grant Thornton has appointed Adam Budworth as managing director in Guernsey, replacing Dave Clark.
Clark, who spent the past 15 years as managing director, will now concentrate on the local business practice of the firm in Guernsey and Jersey.

Also, the company appointed Cyril Swale as head of Guernsey office.
Clark said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as MD and it has been extremely satisfying to see the people develop and the firm grow at the rate it has. I am passing the reins to capable hands and look forward to focusing on my new role."
Budworth speaking of his appointment said: "I am delighted to be appointed as MD of Grant Thornton and I am very excited about the challenge ahead. The firm has enjoyed impressive growth in the last seven years and the main task is to continue this trend, delivering a distinctive client service and continuing to grow our people. I take over with the firm in good shape and I look forward to building on the success enjoyed in the past."
