French asset manager Amundi has appointed Silvia Bocchiotti to the newly created role of director of retail advisory and head of third-party fund selection.

Bocchiotti most recently served as the CIO at LCL Banque Privee, a role she has held since 2007. In this role, she was responsible for managing asset allocation in discretionary mandates, as well as advisory management.
Prior to this, she worked as a senior portfolio manager of fund of funds at Credit Agricole Asset Management that became part of Amundi in 2010.
Her career began in 1995 at CA Indosuez Wealth Management, where she was responsible for UCITS fund selection and managed discretionary portfolio multi-manager strategies.
Amundi is one of the largest asset managers in Europe, which oversees nearly EUR1 trillion in assets. The company operates in the major financial centres in Paris, London, Milan, Tokyo, Hong-Kong, Singapore, Australia and the US.
