State Street Corporation has appointed Eric Chow as the Asia-Pacific head of client relationship management for the alternative investment solutions group (AIS) group, with immediate effect.

Chow will be based in London and will report to Carol Hall, senior managing director of State Street’s AIS Group, at a regional level.

Chow will have a strong focus on China and North Asia markets, and will be responsible for strengthening customer relationships and bridging client organisations to generate growth for the AIS Group, create and manage clients’ strategic plans as well as identify cross-selling opportunities through senior level relationships.

Chow was most recently the managing director at Bank of New York Mellon, responsible for formulating business strategy, product and business management for alternative investment services and financial markets & treasury services in China.

Earlier to this, he also served as a regional head of business development at HSBC Institutional Trust (Asia) Limited.
