BNP Paribas has made a new appointment to its Singapore office as part of its plans to expand its wealth management business in Asia.
Arnaud Tellier, previously BNP Paribas’ head of corporate and investment banking in Turkey, has been appointed as the chief executive of the Wealth management business in Singapore.

His role sits above Serge Forti who will continue as head of the banks Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysian wealth management businesses.
The move comes as BNP Paribas carries out its extensive plans to grow the business in Asia.
According to reports BNP Paribas is expected to hire 200 private bankers in Asia in a bid to lure private clients away from the larger banks in the region.
In a statement Mignonne Cheng, chairman and chief executive of BNP Paribas Wealth Management Asia Pacific, said the management changes in Asia: "reflect our continued commitment to Singapore and our expansion in Asia as we embark upon the next stage of our growth plan."
