One of these agreements licensed the use of the DundeeWealth trademark to Scotiabank for three years. This license expires on 1 February 2014. The trademark previously used by the business is being replaced with the HollisWealth brand.

Tuula Jalasjaa, managing director and head of the HollisWealth retail advisor network, said: "For the first time, our independent advisory network will enjoy a unique position in the marketplace with a distinct identity and a strong, visible brand that’s backed by Canada’s most international bank."

"The speaker series focuses on the need for all Canadians to integrate long-term care into their financial plans. We look forward to continuing to deliver holistic financial planning and advice to our clients under the new HollisWealth banner," Jalasjaa added.
