Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Australia has appointed Ian Chambers as its new CEO, succeeding Brendan Goffinet.
In his new role, Chambers will be responsible for servicing retail and institutional clients to increase the integration between wealth management and institutional businesses.

Chambers will be based within the wealth business, with both wealth and wholesale businesses reporting to him.
Currently, Chambers is serving as local head of institutional equities at Morgan Stanley. He started his career 30 years ago at retail brokerage EJ Morgan.
Chambers will report to Morgan Stanley Australia CEO Steve Harker at a local level and will continue to report to institutional equity and wealth management Asia head, Gokul Laroia.
