Lebenthal Wealth Advisors, a private division of Lebenthal Holdings, has acquired American equity research firm Heckman Global Advisors.
Founded in 1994, Heckman specializes in global equity allocation advisory, consulting and portfolio modeling services.

Heckman focuses on a model-based approach to asset allocation across countries, regions and sectors in global equity markets and across industries in the US market.
Post acquisition, Heckman founder Leila Heckman and her partners Vijay Kumar Chopra and John Mullin will concentrate on running global equity modeling and research. Heckman will report to James Lebenthal, CIO of Lebenthal Asset Management.
