AllianceBernstein, a US-based investment management firm, has appointed Christopher Thompson as senior managing director and head of US Retail Client Group.
In his new role, Thompson will be responsible for leading all aspects of the firm’s US retail business. He will report to Robert Keith, global head of the firm’s client group.

Additionally, Thompson will involve in leveraging product development in executing the firm’s long-term strategy to reposition and grow a retail franchise.
Thompson has more than 20 years of experience in leading distribution efforts for investment-management firms.
Prior to joining AllianceBernstein, he served as head of intermediary distribution, product and marketing at Columbia Management.
