T. Rowe Price has appointed Scott Keller as its new head of global investment services (GIS) for Asia Pacific, effective July 2014.

Based in Singapore, Keller will be responsible for institutional and intermediary business development.

In addition, Keller will also market to institutions, including sovereign wealth funds and corporate pensions and will identify which local product would be necessary to support the range of fund passporting schemes being proposed in the region.

Keller will be replacing Flemming Madsen, who will move to a new role as head of global financial intermediaries for GIS based in the US.

Kellers team will also establish relationships with large private banks and commercial banks.

Prior to joining T. Rowe Price, Keller has served at UBS as head of Pan Asia, where he was responsible for building the institutional and intermediary business. He worked at UBS for 17 years in Europe and Asia across both the wealth and asset management markets.
