Schroder Investment Management has selected former Financial Services Authority (FSA) director Sheila Nicoll as head of public policy.

In the newly created role, Sheila will report to Massimo Tosato, executive vice chairman of Schroders.

Prior to accepting the current role, Sheila served as senior advisor at EY (formerly Ernst & Young) concentrating on the asset management sector with public policy and regulation.

Earlier she served as a director, conduct policy at the FSA between 2009 and 2013. She joined the FSA as director of retail firms division in 2007.
