The duo will report to Rob Thorpe, head of consumer at the firm.
Bennett’s hire comes as part of F&C’s commitment to build its distribution and client management teams across the business.
Bennett has joined F&C from RWC Partners, where he was head of retail distribution. Prior to this, he has also held roles at JP Morgan Asset Management for 15 years, most recently as head of UK international business.
Rob Thorpe said: "Clients within this market have very different needs and they cannot be viewed as a holistic group. We have considered our sales and marketing approach carefully and by creating these new roles are confident that we will be even better placed to serve our wholesale clients."
