Charles Stanley has hired Graham Hooper as the new head of distribution, effective July 2014.
Reporting to the group director Mike Lilwall, Hooper will work across the firm’s wealth management business. He will also oversee the firm’s general product distribution and development of the direct-to-consumer service, Charles Stanley Direct.

Hooper joined Charles Stanley from Miton Group, where he served as distribution director. He left Miton in March, following the sale of its funds business, Miton Capital Partners, to Seneca Investment Managers.
Prior to this, he worked as head of marketing at Bestinvest for two years, and spent 17 years at Chase de Vere as a marketing director.
Lilwall said: "In particular, his relevant skills in the D2C space should greatly assist our Charles Stanley Direct platform with increasing demand for advanced client communications and effective marketing strategies."’
