Highland Capital Management, a Dallas-based investment management firm, which together with its affiliates manages approximately $19 billion in assets, announced that it claims compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and has been independently verified for the period of 1 January 2009 through 31 December 2013.
The GIPS standards are a rigorous set of investment performance measurement principles which have been adopted in 37 countries and recognized around the world for providing credibility, integrity, scope, and uniformity of performance reporting by enabling direct comparability of a firm’s track record.

Highland was independently verified for the period January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2013 by ACA Performance Services, LLC. To achieve this goal, Highland separately engaged the consultation services of Guardian Performance Solutions LLC.
