Clydesdale Bank has strengthened its business and private banking team in Aberdeen with the appointment of a new business development manager.
The bank has hired Ian Donaldson from Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). He has more than 14 years’ experience in the banking industry.

"Ian has developed a particular expertise in the healthcare sector but also has a strong history of supporting businesses in the oil and gas sector," the bank said in a statement.
Stephen Hepburn, head of Clydesdale Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Aberdeen, said: "We are proud to have Ian joining our team and he is now part of a 30 plus strong operation supporting businesses in the city.
"His in-depth knowledge of Aberdeen’s business community and his awareness of the challenges and opportunities that exist locally will be a great asset."
