Lloyds Banking Group has appointed Rosemary Hilary as Audit Director for TSB – the standalone bank Lloyds Banking Group is creating under ‘Project Verde.’
Hilary will be responsible for providing an independent, professional and effective audit service to TSB’s Audit Committee and Board whilst also directing the internal audit division.

Hilary was previously the head of Internal Audit at the FCA/FSA where she led the reviews into the failure of RBS and the supervision of Northern Rock. She worked at the FSA since its inception including running the risk specialists and authorisations functions. Prior to joining the FSA, she held a senior supervisory role at the Bank of England. Her early career was spent in commercial banking and insurance.
Paul Pester, chief executive of TSB, said: "Her industry experience will complement our already high quality team and she will provide invaluable support as we move closer to becoming a standalone bank."
