Zurich has hired Belinda Tan as new head of local financial advisers and banks for its life business in Singapore, effective 15 September 2014.
In her new role, Tan will oversee the local FA and Banks Sales teams and will drive the sale strategy and growth of these two channels as Zurich continues to boost its independent distribution and external sales network.

Belinda will report to Peter Huber, CEO of Zurich’s Life business in Singapore.
Prior to joining Zurich, Tan worked at Friends Provident International as regional sales manager managing the Bancassurance and FA channels.
Earlier to this, she held roles at AIA, Prudential Assurance Singapore, DBS bank, Great Eastern as well as Singapore International Monetary Exchange (now the Singapore Exchange).
Huber said: "Belinda, with her extensive channel sales experience, will play a crucial role at Zurich as she leads the FA and banks sales teams in growing our network and maximizing sales opportunities through these channels."
