Wunderlich Securities, a US-based investment bank, has opened a new wealth management office in Richmond, Virginia.
The new office will be headed by Thomas Johnson, who has joined the firm as managing director from Raymond James.

In his new role, Johnson will be responsible for expanding Wunderlich’s presence in Virginia.
Additionally, the firm has also hired Debbie Tucker as assistant branch manager in Richmond from Raymond James.
Johnson has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services business and more than $70 million of assets under management, while Tucker has over six years of experience as an operations manager.
James Parrish, president of Wunderlich’s Private Client Group, said: "I have worked with Tom for many years and am excited to have him on my team to grow our business in Virginia."
