Wealth Management Systems (WMSI) has acquired S&P Capital IQ’s Financial Communications (FC) business to help its clients maximize the value of customer engagement.

WMSI said that the terms of the deal were not disclosed.

As a part of the deal, WMSI will utilize its data processing expertise in combination with the education and marketing solutions of FC to strengthen its value proposition in the marketplace, providing clients with fully integrated solutions to maximize customer engagement, personalize the customer experience and proactively address the needs of every customer.

Following the deal, WMSI said that it plans to retain all FC employees and will continue to support and develop the full line of WMSI and FC product offerings.

FC creates and implements business-specific solutions for clients by bringing together professional guidance, relevant content, and flexible delivery.

WMSI will now operate from offices located in West Palm Beach, Florida, Boston Massachusetts, Waltham, Massachusetts, and New York City, New York.

According to WMSI, the clients will be provided with fully integrated customer servicing solutions to maximize customer engagement and participant outcomes; personalize the customer experience across all servicing channels; and proactively address the needs of every customer through education, meaningful guidance and customized product and service offerings.
