Wise Planners, a subsidiary of AZ Next Generation Advisory (AZNGA), has agreed to acquire 100% of the shares of Domane Financial Advisers (DFA), a Sydney-based advice firm with over $212m in funds under advice (FUA).

Wise Planners will have over $707m of FUA in its portfolio following the acquisition.

Wise Partners CEO Gareth Hall said the deal is a logical step for DFA principal Therese who is seeking a succession solution for herself, her employees and her clients.

AZ NGA CEO Paull Barrett said: "When proprietors enter into arrangements with AZNGA, it is not only to solve their long term succession, but to enable growth. Gareth has an ambitious plan for growth which in partnership with AZ NGA he is able to achieve."

DFA, licensed with Charter Financial Planning, offers various advisory services such as retirement planning, investment insurance, SMSF, estate planning, strategic financial planning advice, as well as corporate super offering for small to medium sized businesses.

The firm has over 1000 personal clients alongside over 2000 corporate super members.
