WH Ireland has hired Dan Cowland as its new finance director, succeeding Alan Kershaw who has quit the firm at the end of last month.
Based in London, Cowland will join the Board and senior management team in his new role.

Cowland has joined WH Ireland from Shore Capital Stockbrokers, where he served as finance director.
Prior to this, he has also worked at Macquarie Bank and Lehman Brothers.
Richard Killingbeck chief executive WH Ireland said: "Dan will work closely with myself to deliver our strategic ambitions and will help bring greater focus and rigour to the financial management of the company."
