To ensure their customers get a professional and personalized service when moving to Australia, Westpac has partnered with major migration agencies in Asia.

Jenny West, head of migrant banking at Westpac, said: "In addition to facilitating the visa application we provide access to business partners to help migrants with other key lifestyle needs such as relocation, employment, schooling and medical services.

"Westpac’s strength and growing prominence in Asia is resonating with clients with over 1,000 Chinese speaking bankers in our network as well as offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong," West added.

Westpac said that its SIV customers can invest through a Flexible Investment Account that has access to a range of complying investments in addition to any required minimum investment in Australian Government bonds.
