Wells Fargo Advisors has lured a team of seven financial advisers from UBS and Morgan Stanley that together managed $1.38 billion in assets.

The team, which includes advisors William Peragine and John Biondo, joined the firm’s Melville, New York office. The team previously managed more than $830 million in combined client assets at Morgan Stanley.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2007, Peragine worked with UBS and also started his career in 1988 at Dean Witter Reynolds, which was then acquired by Morgan Stanley.

Additionally, Lee Dubinsky also joined the firm’s Melville, New York office from UBS, where he managed more than $140 million in client assets.

The trio will report to Long Island market manager Christopher Davis in their new roles.

Joining the Woodland Hills, California office are advisors William Boatwright and Craig Diamond, who previously managed more than $259 million in client assets at UBS.

Meantime, Jon Miller and Doug Kunzman have also joined the firm’s Lincoln, Nebraska office from UBS, where they managed more than $151 million in combined client assets.
