Wells Fargo & Company has named Troy Kilpatrick as new head of Wells Fargo Corporate Trust Services, effective from 19 May 2014.
Based in Charlotte, N.C, Kilpatrick will oversee a team of more than 2,000 team members, based primarily in the US, who services $2.5tn in unpaid principal for their clients.

In his new role, Kilpatrick will report to Julie Caperton, managing director and head of Wells Fargo Asset-Backed Finance and Corporate Trust Services.
Kilpatrick will be replacing Brian Bartlett, who recently retired from Wells Fargo.
Kilpatrick has joined Wells Fargo from Bank of New York (BNY) Mellon Trust Company, a subsidiary of BNY Mellon, most recently serving as president and U.S. executive for the Corporate Trust group. He also worked as managing director of US municipal and corporate finance and head of global sales and marketing at BNY Corporate Trust.
Caperton said: "Troy has more than 15 years of industry experience and an impressive track record of achieving new business growth."
