WEDGE Capital Management has unveiled a new collective investment trust (CIT) fund for its mid cap value strategy.
The new CIT fund will follow an investment portfolio similar to the firm’s Mid Cap Value strategy and is open for any qualified defined contribution or defined benefit retirement plan.

Additionally, the WEDGE Mid Cap Value Fund will offer an additional option for clients to invest in the strategy by allowing for open architecture manager structure for those investing in retail mutual funds.
The fund will also provide lower minimum initial investment that offers the administrative convenience and client’s access to a wider range of institutional investors.
WEDGE Capital Management serves as a plan fiduciary and also as an investment manager for the fund. It currently manages US$11 billion in total assets and serves more than 250 clients.
