Washington Trust has announced plans to open its first branch in Johnston, Rhode Island.
The new branch will be located at 1383 Atwood Avenue, the former site of Ribs & Company. Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2014, the new location is Washington Trust’s 19th branch office.

The new 5,400 square feet branch will feature four teller stations; three customer service areas and a walk-up ATM. It will also feature banking conveniences such as two drive-up banking lanes, night deposit services for small business customers and a drive-up ATM.
