Washington Trust Bancorp, the parent of The Washington Trust Company, has completed its acquisition of Halsey Associates, a New Haven, Connecticut-based registered investment adviser.

The deal, which was first announced in June 2015, increases Washington Trust Wealth Management’s assets under administration to approximately $6bn, a rise of over 15%.

Halsey Associates will continue to function under the same label as a division of Washington Trust Wealth Management.

James Zoldy, president of Halsey Associates, and his team will continue to be associated with the firm and will work with Halsey clients.
