The Active Managed Portfolio Service (Amps) seeks to differentiate the firm’s existing ready to invest range of model portfolios by offering direct investment in equities and bonds, alongside the more traditional collective scheme selection.
The company said that Amps is offered with a clean annual management fee with no hidden charges or commissions.
While the existing ready to invest service offers a range of 20 possible portfolios, within five risk profiles, defensive, cautious, intermediate, progressive or adventurous profiles, investors can tilt their objectives to either income or growth.
Walker Crips Investment Management head of business development Paul Jordan said: "Amps offers IFAs and investors a wider choice when compared with collectives only portfolios; and with the key benefit that it has a more competitive total expense ratio."
"Having consulted advisers about what they seek in a compelling discretionary management service, we believe Amps meets many of their requirements," Jordan added.
