Vontobel Wealth Management Asia Pacific has named Tony Lai as new senior relationship manager in Hong Kong, effective 28 August 2015.

In his new role, Lai will report to Alex Fung, CEO Vontobel Wealth Management Asia Pacific. Lai joined Vontobel from EFG Bank, where he worked as a senior relationship manager and became chief of staff in 2013.
Prior to this, he worked with several banks in Hong Kong, including Republic National Bank of New York, American Express Bank and Bank of East Asia. He has more than 34 years of experience in banking in Asia, of which 27 years is in private banking.
Lai’s hire underlines Vontobel’s commitment to expand its wealth management offering in Hong Kong.
