Vontobel Asset Management has strengthened its fixed income offering by launching a new global corporate mid yield strategy.
Additionally, the company has hired Christian Hantel as senior portfolio manager to its fixed income team to manage the new strategy.

Hantel will work alongside Mondher Bettaieb and Jamil Bouallai in the management of the fund.
Hantel joined Vontobel from Swisscanto Asset Management, where he was responsible for global and euro credit portfolios, multi-currency mandates and also lead managed the global corporate bond fund.
Prior to that, he worked as head of corporate credit for BNY Mellon Asset Management.
