Vontobel Asset Management Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Vontobel Holding AG of Switzerland, has appointed Luc D’hooge as head of emerging markets fixed income.
In his new role, D’hooge will strengthen the investment capabilities and further develop the product offering in that asset class.

D’hooge comes from Dexia Asset Management, where he was head of emerging markets bond funds and managed emerging markets debt portfolios.
Additionally, the asset manager has also appointed Wouter Van Overfelt as portfolio manager and quantitative analyst.
With more than five years of experience in quantitative analysis and credit risk modeling, Van Overfelt comes from GDF Suez, a French multinational electric utility company.
