Vanguard has named Rodney Comegys as new head of Investments Asia-Pacific and head of Equity Investment Group Asia-Pacific, replacing Gregory Davis.

Davis is returning to the firm’s Pennsylvania headquarters and will become the global head of Vanguard’s fixed income group, according to Financial Standard.

Comegys will relocate to Vanguard’s Australian head office in Melbourne

In his new role, Comegys will be responsible for the Asia-Pacific Equity Investment Group and will lead Vanguard’s team of 53 investment professionals in Australia.

Comegys, who has been associated with Vanguard since last 14 years, currently leads the ETF trading and index analysis teams, which are part of Vanguard’s Equity Investment Group that manages 79 portfolios and US$1.3 trillion in assets.
