U.S. Wealth Management (USWM) has hired Matthew Schulman as new director of business development.
Based in Braintree, Schulman will report to John Napolitano, CEO of U.S. Wealth Management.

In his new role, Schulman will oversee strategy and execution for the recruitment of independent financial advisory practices to the U.S. Wealth Management platform.
In addition, he will also focus on adding fee-based independent financial advisory practices, with approximately US$50 to US$100 million in AUM to USWM. He will also lead advisors on their professional development and growth, including business succession and operating efficiencies.
Prior to joining USWM, Schulman held several branch development and sales management roles at Prudential Securities, and has led branch offices for Paine Webber/UBS in Columbus, Ohio, Boston and Worcester.
Before to this, Schulman has headed the Central region for the Investment Group at Citizens Bank in Massachusetts.
