U.S. Bank Wealth Management has appointed Eric Freedman as its new CIO, replacing Tim Leach who recently retired.

Freedman will be responsible for directing the company’s asset management group, and will lead its investment management business strategy and policies.

Freedman has been serving in the role of CIO, managing director and global market strategist for CAPTRUST Financial Advisors for the last 10 years. His previous roles include senior portfolio manager at Franklin Street Partners, and vice president of equity derivatives at Goldman Sachs.
