Before joining UBP, Stein was director general at BNP Paribas (Suisse), in charge of wealth management. Before that he was CEO Private Banking within Fortis group.
Throughout his career, Stein has held several senior positions in private banking in Europe’s and Switzerland’s major financial centers.

UBP has selected the Luxembourg financial center as the ideal platform from which to expand its private banking and asset management activities in Europe.
UBP head of Private Banking division Michel Longhini said, Stein brings with him his international private banking experience acquired over more than 20 years and in all the major European financial centers.
"He has all the qualities it takes for implementing our strategy and developing our activities in Luxembourg and the European Union," Longhini said.
