Unigestion, Swiss-based institutional asset manager, has unveiled a new Canadian-domiciled world developed equities fund.
Employing a low risk, active risk management strategy, the new Unigestion Global Equity fund aims to minimize total risk while achieving a higher return than market capitalization-weighted indices.

Managed by Unigestion SA (Geneva), the fund initially has C$51 million in AUM.
The new fund has been designed in response to the needs of institutional investors seeking stable returns while avoiding the sharp swings of financial markets.
Alexei Jourovski, managing director and head of equity at Unigestion, said: "We are excited to be launching a Canadian-domiciled fund focused on our World Equity strategy and look forward to engaging with local clients in order to explain to them our active investment approach and unique philosophy."
Unigestion, which manages C$ 17 billion globally, already has close to C$700 million under management in Canada.
