UniCredit, a banking group headquartered in Italy, has named Davide Lombardo as the new head of investment advisory and key clients of group wealth management.

The appointment takes effective immediately. Lombardo will operate out of Milan.

At UniCredit, Lombardo will be responsible for enhancing the wealth management value proposition for the bank’s clients in core markets.

The bank’s core markets are Italy, Germany, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia as well as Turkey.

Its international network covers an additional 18 countries.

Lombardo most recently served as the managing director and head of the investor advisory team for the Swiss and European market at J.P. Morgan.

He spent 10 years at J.P. Morgan.

In his financial career of more than two decades, he also worked in the investment banking arm of UBS in London.

In the new role, Lombardo will report to UniCredit group wealth management CEO Marco Bizzozero.
