UBS’ global head of cash equities Phil Allison is to quit after a spell of 18 years at the firm.
Allison, most recently served as head of its equities business for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in addition to a global cash role.

Meantime, Jason Barron and Dominic Vail will assume the responsibilities of Allison on an interim basis.
Barron, currently global head of financing services, will take over Allison’s duties as head of Emea equities, while Vail who is currently global head of equity distribution, will take over the role of global head of cash equities.
Allison has joined UBS in 1997 and later became global head of cash equities in 2010 and head of EMEA equities in 2012.
UBS said that permanent replacements will be declared in due course.
