Robert Wolf, who asked to step down from the Group Americas CEO role by the end of 2010, will remain as chairman of UBS Group Americas and president of the Investment Bank.
Lofts has been Group chief risk officer of UBS since November 2008.

Miskovic was, most recently, chief risk officer of State Street Corporation, as well as a member of that firms Operating Group and chair of its Major Risk Committee.
Immediately before that, Miskovic served as a member of the State Street Board of Directors. Prior to that, she held a number of senior positions with major financial institutions.
Miskovic will be based in Zurich and will report to UBS CEO Oswald Grubel.
Grubel said, given the importance of the Americas region, which has the largest concentration of UBS employees and is the worlds largest wealth management market and investment banking fee pool, UBS decided to broaden its senior leadership team to provide the momentum necessary to develop key areas in the US, Canada and Latin America.
